so heres how it happened…

 Atomic 99 Started in midst of 2015, as bored Freshmen students it was clear that to be different and standout is to not go by what everyone else liked and or set the trend to. Punk rock music was the escape and the joy of playing music was something that Cj and Hector knew had to take to the next level and expose to others around them. “ It started as an idea to hang out with friends and we tried to make some songs for fun and not really care what people think, I guess from there some kids around us caught on and started bands of their own”- cj 2018.  A thought occurred of being serious and taking things to the next level was the logical next step see with that Cj and Hector recruited a near and dear friend and quite possibly their most finest and tightest drummer to date! From there they found and still are currently working with their producer Davey Warsop from Sharp Shock, From recording their first album at Hurley HQ, they have now started working on their Sophomore Album “Meet me at Glen Abbey” with a bigger production, better quality instruments, and better musicianship. An official line up in which would be recognized as an official lineup would consist of Cj Lucas, Hector Rodriguez, Vincent Leaf. This would solidify the official presence of Atomic 99 as we see it today. Since then, the boys has been playing original music, quality shows, and interpretations of classic punk songs with a twist of modern rock. Although they are young, they look to the past and are inspired to bring rock back to its glory!
